Finished hot air balloon and basket will be about 22 cm / 8.5” tall.
The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology abbreviations with abbreviation list.
The pattern uses one block colour for the balloon to encourage beginners who may find colour changes a challenge.
Stitches used in the pattern are, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Chain, Increase, Decrease, Magic Ring and the Crab Stitch. Links to tutorials for the Crab Stitch and Magic Ring are included in the pattern.
Pattern uses in the round amigurumi.
Materials required are:
Crochet Hook Size 3.5mm, E hook.
Yarn Needle - used to close, weave in ends and thread string.
DK Yarn in Green and Brown/Beige
String - for hanging basket to balloon and to hang completed hot air balloon.
Stuffing - for the Balloon element.
Optional - Stitch Marker - useful for keeping place of round.
