Horse or Unicorn or Pegasus

The pattern contains the instructions for a noble Horse and how to knit and add a Unicorn horn or Pegasus wings. The Horse stands easily without wires or inserts and is just the right size for little hands. The pattern was created for my 4 year old niece, because if she wants a unicorn, she can have one.

For an INTERMEDIATE KNITTER. The good news is that there isn’t much sewing, mostly picking up stitches.

SKILLS REQUIRED Garter (knit) Stitch; Stockinette Stitch; Knitting Flat; Knitting in the Round; KFB increase; 3 Needle Bind Off; K2tog; SSK; P2tog; Sewing together using fake grafting

MATERIALS REQUIRED Approx 80 yds DK weight yarn in main color; Approx 5 yds DK weight yarn in contrast color; Scrap of black yarn to embroider eyes; US size 4 (3.5mm) dpns set of 5; Stitch makers and stitch holders (scraps of yarn will do); Tapestry needle; Fiberfill; Tape measure
