The base of the bag is worked first in rows. Then stitches are picked up, reversibly, around it and the sides are worked to the cast-off. To complete the bag two i-cords are knit and woven through the eyelet round to give the bag it's closure and straps.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis pattern includes directions for reversibily picking up stitches, forming the eyelets, and casting off as per the pattern photos. Also included are links to tutorials (photo and video) for casting on for double-knitting.
