The borders are picked up and knitted and the hood is added last.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe hood is finished by using Kitchener stitch to graft it together at the end. As the buttons hold the sides together there is no seaming to do.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOnce you get into the rhythm, the long cabled section in the middle is perfect for knitting when you don't want to concentrate too much.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs the sleeping bag is not fitted to the baby and they can wriggle around I wouldn't recommend it for unsupervised sleeping.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis pattern comes in four sizes from Newborn to one year. It has been tech edited and test knitted. It includes charted and written instructions as well as a schematic.
