The bauble is straightforward to make especially if you have worked with loop stitch, if not full instructions are included along with links to online tutorials. Two strands of yarn are used together when making the bauble, if you purchase 2 balls of wool it is easier to make up this way and you will have enough yarn to make 3 - 4 baubles depending on your tension, hook and loop size.

A little bit of skill is required to tackle the amigurumi work for the ears, horns, snout and hat (keeping the tension tight, working in rounds & increasing / decreasing stitches). Lots of techniques to try, making this a fun project for Christmas decorations and gifts.
