The spool holder is advertised as deep enough to hold larger spools of thread. It isn’t. Lid has to balance on top.

This is a clear plastic box for the storage of reels of thread. It was exactly what I wanted and joined a number of others so I can keep the various colours of threads separately.
Never have I been so organised! Shame the spindles don’t fit bobbins on them all the way down.
