Hanging Flowers Decoration

This delightful hanging floral decoration will brighten any room it hangs in. I have made it is 100% cotton DK because it gives a good stitch definition but it will work in most yarns.

I made this using up small amounts of yarn from my stash. I suggest a total of 5 colours but less could be used. The finished weight in the cotton DK is approx. 32g.

I also suggest using a 3.5mm hook (E-4 US) because I wanted to achieve a tighter finish. Larger or smaller hooks can be used but this will change the finished size.

The tension / gauge is not important. Measurements: Total length from loop to bead is approx. 47cm but it will depend on how long you make the connecting chains between flowers. Large flower – approx. 12cm x 12cm Medium flower – approx. 9cm x 9cm Small flower – approx. 6.5cm x 6.5cm Ball – approx. 4.5cm x 4.5cm
