I am an experienced knitter and I have never come across a pattern so poorly explained and written. I have completed the grinch but had no enjoyment making it.

Read the pattern first as it is written different to other patterns I have used.
Great products at competitive prices
I’ve almost finished my Grinch and although I found some of the terminology hard to understand, once I’d worked it out it was obvious! I used double knitting yarn to knit him and it was fine. I’m going to be knitting him again, one of my other grandchildren want one too!
Easy to make. My Gtandson loves it.
Why would you go anywhere else?
At first the pattern seems to make no sense but if you read it slowly and carefully IT IS easy. I have made this doll but not quite finished sewing him up. He looks fantastic at the moment. Would HIGHLY recommemd

Once you get past the start and realise when it says knit the thread in two folds, the pattern is actually 4ply and 2 strands are used. I had ordered DK, so I knitted 1 strand of double knitting. I haven’t quite finished, but I’m pleased with the way it’s going.
