The Granny Stripe Cowl pattern is a super easy and fast to work up project, it is ideal for using up small leftovers from other projects. Although you need 5 colours to make the same design as the sample, you would easily use more or fewer colours and customise it for stash busting! It is written in US crochet terms and to complete it you will need to be able to do the following stitches, double crochet, chain, skip stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, single crochet back loop only. You will need a 4mm crochet hook and 5 colours of DK acrylic yarn (I used Robin DK) for colours 2,3 and 4 you will need approximately 30g of each colour and for colours 1 and 5 you will need approximately 45g. Gauge in pattern of cluster stitch is 15 x 10.5 Dimensions of the cowl are 28 inches around the neck and 17 inches high.
