Go with the Flow Mosaic Placemat, Runner

This is a 12 stitch repeat pattern. Overlay mosaic. You can use 2, 4 or 5 different colours. There is a chart for each colour option. So this is great to use up scrap yarn.

I did my 5 colour version in bright colours. It is so groovy! I kept on getting that 70’s vibe and easy ‘go with the flow’ feeling of a hippy. It is a very laid back, easy pattern to follow.

For my 4 colour version, I stuck to my favourite hues of blue.

A versatile pattern that could also be made into a scarf, bed runner, cushion cover etc.

There is a written pattern as well as a graph/chart. It has both US and UK terms.

I used a South African yarn called Moya DK. It is 100% cotton. 135m/50g. I used approx 140g per placemat. I recommend slightly more yarn to allow for different tensions.
