The Girdwood Mittens come in all sizes, from newborn to adult large. Some details are listed on this page, but you can find more detailed sizing information in the chart at left.
Newborn To fit: 0 years. 4.75" (12 cm) circumference using fingering weight yarn. This size is knit without thumbs.
Toddler To fit: 1-2 years. 6" (15.25 cm) circumference using sport weight yarn. This size is knit without thumbs.
Small Kid To fit: 3-6 years. 6" (15.25 cm) circumference using sport weight yarn.
Big Kid To fit: 6-10 years. 7.25" (18.5 cm) circumference using light worsted weight yarn.
Small Adult 7.5" (19 cm) circumference using light worsted weight yarn.
Medium Adult 8.5" (21.5 cm) circumference using bulky weight yarn.
Large Adult 9" (22.75 cm) circumference using bulky weight yarn.
When choosing a size, be sure to measure your hands carefully and choose the size that is closest to your measurement.
