Made in one piece, this quick work-up will use leftover yarn that is just lying around. At a size of 6 cm x 5 cm, it makes the perfect decoration for a Christmas tree. It can also be attached to a greeting card, or simply used as a pretty detail on a ribbon around a packet of homemade gingerbread cookies.
The pattern (written in US terms) calls for DK yarn in light brown, and a 4.00 mm crochet hook.
Additional materials required are a darning needle with which to weave in the ends, a small length of coloured textured/satin ribbon (approximately 5 mm in width) for the tiny bow, some gel adhesive, and a short length of gold thread to make the hanging loop.
