This novelty gift bag has been made using oddments of DK yarn (46g in total).
The finished owl stands approx 5½ ins/14 cms tall.
The body & wings are worked flat on single point needles in a simple slip stitch design which is explained row by row in the pattern.
The base & eyes are worked on 4 dpns.
I have knitted my gift bag using Paintbox Yarns Simply DK but most DK yarns would be suitable to use.
The pattern is in PDF format on 6 pages with row by row instructions & explanatory photos.
