Garter Stitch Half Pi Shawl

The half pi shawl is the more wearable, quicker cousin of the famous pi shawl developed by the great knitting maven, Elizabeth Zimmermann. The idea behind it is to double your stitches every increase row and double your rows following each increase row. This makes a top-down shawl that has big sections of knitting for you to work intricate lace patters across without having to worry about the stitch count changing!
