Fruit tartlets

Don’t play with food? Here you are allowed! Crochet some tasty tartlets for play kitchen or as decoration. The tartlets can be arranged individually. Put cream, pudding or lemon curd on your shortcrust pastry and decorate it with fruits as banana slices, mandarin segments, various berrys, kiwi slices and cream. The pattern is well suited to use up yarn scraps. The pattern desribes all components detailed. More than 70 pictures will help you to understand the production process.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience. The following techniques are used: magic ring, chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, crochet in rows and rounds, increase, decrease, colour change, sewing and embroidering (UK crochet stitch terms).
