At first glance at the directions you might not think this pattern belongs to a collection of simple knits. However, once you get going (and most especially after Row 15) your knitting should become pretty intuitive. The Bird’s Eye edging that adorns the “V” (increase) edge of the shawlette is a six-row repeat.
