I found there were too many markers to keep track of so chose to leave out the ones that designated the beginning and ending of the borders. The first one I knitted I found the mouth to look very ghoulish so I embroidered a mouth on the next one. I was very happy with the result and ended up unpicking the first one and redo it with an embroidered smile.
