I'm so excited for you guys to see the Franck shawl, it was the piece I designed to wear on my wedding day and named after the family I married into. It's a knitted piece that I will cherish forever, and I hope you enjoy the knitting process as much as I did!
YARN - DK weight yarn, approx: CA: 685 yds (627 m) CB: 335 yds (307 m) (CA is the neckband & prominent brioche color)
Sample uses: Featherfin yarn Cashmerino DK 80% SW Merino, 20% Mongolian Cashmere (270 yds 250 m per 100g) in the colorways ‘Red Amethyst’ & ‘Magnolia’
GAUGEBoth blocked swatches worked flat
In basic brioche rib with smaller needles 14 sts & 22 rows in 4” (10 cm)
In garter with larger needles 17 sts & 30 rows in 4” (10 cm)
