What is Being Made

The Flutter Shawl is a crocheted triangular shawl designed by Helda Panagary and inspired by cherry blossom aesthetics. Materials and Tools

The Flutter Shawl is worked in 4-ply yarn using Eden Cottage Yarns Brimham, which is composed of 85% Extrafine Superwash Merino and 15% nylon. This fiber blend provides durability and easy care. The pattern requires six yarn colors in the following quantities:

• Yarn A – Campanula: 2 skeins (200g/800m/872yds total) for the main body and border, with 35g wound for tassels and border, or 25g if tassels are omitted
• Yarn B – Hydrangea: 1 skein (20g/80m/87yds)
• Yarn C – Fern: 1 skein (20g/80m/87yds)
• Yarn D – Antique Rose: 1 skein (20g/80m/87yds)
• Yarn E – Compost: 1 skein (20g/80m/87yds)

Two crochet hooks are required: a 4mm hook for the main body of the shawl, and a 2.5mm hook for the bud, cherry blossom, and leaves sections. Additional tools include a tape measure and pins for blocking and finishing.
