Flowers in a Vase

Crochet wall art! This 3 dimensional work of art features cheerful Red and Pink carnation like Flowers in a lovely delft inspired Blue and White Vase. Each piece is separately crocheted and attached to a large crocheted “canvas” bordered with a crocheted “frame”. The finished work measures about 16” wide by about 21.5” high. The pattern is fun to crochet with a variety of stitches and techniques to keep things interesting. Worked in 7 shades of Red Heart Super Saver. Reinforced with a dowel across the back for hanging on a hook.

4.25 mm G Hook, Tapestry Needle,Stitch Markers, Yarn Pins, and a 1/4" diameter by about 16"legnth of dowel.

Yarn: Cherry Red (0319) 40 yds; Light Raspberry(0774) 30 yds; Light Sage (0631) 15 yds; White (0311) 20 yds; Blue Suede (3945) 5 yds; Buff(0334) 80 yds; Café Latte (0360) 15 yds

If substituting yarn, avoid soft yarns unless planning to use this as part of a quilt.
