Floro the red squirrel

With this very easy pattern, you can make a realistic but playful red or grey squirrel doll.

Size: 6 inch/ 15 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.

Materials For this squirrel you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US / 3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours of yarn, rust (2/3 of a 100 yard skein), white (1/4) and some barley / camel colour. These quantities are estimates. For the eyes I’ve used 9 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 9427, 0051 and 1419 or 1400.
