This is an easy pattern. You’ll need to know how to knit, purl, do yarn overs and simply decrease. Only one special stitch is introduced and it is based on purl st. Four row repetition is easy to remember.

Materials:

You’ll need about 950 yds of worsted weight yarn

Needles: size US 11 (8 mm)

Tapestry Needle

Hook size L (8 mm) to make a fringe

Gauge: 14 sts and 12 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Net stitch after blocking

Size: Measurement was taken on flat surface, keep in mind that shawl will stretch under its own weight

Size with fringe 74x17” (188x43 cm), without fringe 64x17” (162x43 cm)
