Flame of love shawl

This is a crescent shaped shawl knitted top down. This shawl can be made in two sizes:

- Medium (142 rows)

- Large (154 rows)

For this shawl I recommend yarn of 600 – 1000 meters / 660 – 1100 yards in 100 gram. Gauge is not important but will determine the final size of the shawl and the amount of yarn needed.

- For medium size shawl 800 – 1000 metres (875 – 1100 yards) of yarn to be used.

- For large size shawl 1000 – 1200 metres (1100 – 1310 yards) of yarn to be used.

In the shawl’s body and border I used Czech seed beads №8 ≈ 20 – 25 grams (911 beads for medium size shawl, 993 beads for large size shawl).

Needles: circular needles US1½ – US6 (2.5 – 4 mm); 40” (100cm) or longer. Crochet hook 0.5 mm for placing beads. Crochet hook 1.5 mm to cast on and to bind off.
