The Mercerie British Aran -

Product Description
This pattern uses UK abbreviations.
This is a very straightforward crochet pattern, worked almost entirely in double crochet stitches with just a little shaping to create the turned up brim. The bunny ears are included in the pattern – but are, of course, optional! This is the perfect project if you’re looking for something a little bit individual, and not too difficult.
The pattern includes two sizes; the small size has an internal measurement of 51 cms and would fit a small adult, or older child and the medium size measures 54cms, and would fit a larger adult head. It really depends on how you like to wear your hats - perched or pulled down over your ears!
The small size uses 3 x 50gm balls of Mercerie British aran wool and the larger size uses 4 balls - and slightly less yarn if you omit the ears.
I suggest a 3.5mm hook for this project - but correct tension is essential for this so be prepared to try out a couple of hook sizes until you get it just right.
