Fantasy Leaves lace Scarf

Cozy and warm, this scarf is easier to knit than it looks. It has an all-over textured leaf stitch with a bit of stitch wrapping that lends a fantasy quality to the scarf. Between each patch of leaves is a simple garter stitch band that adds to the texture of the pattern. Follow a chart or written stitch instructions to knit this scarf from the bottom up at each end, and then join the ends in the center. Finished measurements: 72” (183cm) long x 5 ½” (14cm) wide.

Yarn: 360 yards/330meters worsted weight. Sample scarf was knitted using 1 skein Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Yarn (14oz/396gram); 744yds /681m 100% Acrylic; in color—Turqua.

Needles and Notions: Size U.S. 9/5.5mm single points needles; plus 1 spare needle to hold stitches; yarn needle to work Kitchener stitch for joining scarf ends, and sewing in loose ends
