Product Description
Falda is a swingy skirt with flattering elongating lines and fun bursts of colour at the hem. Falda uses three colours of sock-weight yarn in vertical stripes interrupted by gores which give the skirt its A-line shape. The skirt is worked side-to-side, seamed, and then the waistband is picked up and knit circularly. A turned waistband conceals a band of elastic.
Knit this skirt as shown or use the Falda work sheet included to come up with your own custom version. This pattern generator worksheet allows you to customize the waist size, the length, the number of gores and the depth of the gores to create your own one-of-a-kind skirt.
A primarily wool yarn that is tightly twisted and offers good memory would be the best choice for Falda.
