Eric's Jumpsuit

Easily knit, practical and functional, this jumpsuit is worked top down using the raglan method, with short rows incorporated in the back for comfort and extra space for diapers. Worked in garter stitch, with mirrored yarn-over cables on the sides to add interest to the design and knitting experience, the bodysuit can be made with or without the hood. The zipper in the front makes this jumpsuit very easy to put on and take off! The pattern includes a tutorial for installing the zipper, so you can learn a new skill if you’ve never sewn a zipper onto knitwear. Modeled in the smallest size by my three-months-old son (14 lbs. and 25” tall at the time this picture was taken), the jumpsuit in the picture above was knit with Drops Merino Extrafine in Denim Blue colorway.
