Easy teddy bear knitting pattern

An easy knitting pattern for a soft and cuddly teddy bear using just knit and purl stitches.

Teddy has a friendly face and cute little ears. He makes the perfect gift for a friend or child.

This pattern is written out instructions with illustrations to help you along the way. It is designed for beginner knitters, but also makes a great quick knit for more experienced knitters.

Finished teddy measures 26cm / 10 inches tall.

Materials required:

• Single point knitting needles 43.25mm / US size 3 - 30cm/ 12inches

• DK yarn 75g / 2.65oz, 150m / 164 yards yarn

• Images use Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash in white pepper heather shade.

• Oddment of black yarn for eyes, nose and mouth.

• Washable toy stuffing

• Darning needle & scissors

Skills required:

• Cast on / Cast off.

• Knit

• Purl

• Make 1 stitch.
