The Dillan is a sweet, versatile baby dress designed to grow with your child from newborn through early childhood. This top-down knit dress features an A-line silhouette and is engineered to transition seamlessly into a tunic as your baby girl grows. The design spans seven sizes, from 0-3 months through 5-6 years, with chest measurements ranging from 16 inches to 25 inches, making it an excellent investment piece for a growing wardrobe.

Construction and Design Techniques

The Dillan employs a top-down construction method, which allows knitters to try on the garment as it progresses and easily adjust length to suit individual preferences. The dress is knit mostly in the round, minimizing seaming and creating a smooth, professional finish. The A-line cut is achieved through strategic increases that shape the garment from the fitted yoke to the flowing skirt, providing both comfort and an elegant silhouette suitable for babies and young children.
