Product Description
This headband can be knitted in three different widths, using your own choice of DK yarn, whether its cotton, wool, bamboo or man-made fibres. In the photographs, the yellow band was knitted on 3.5mm needles using 21g/42m Wendy Cotton Supreme DK. The turquoise band was knitted on 3.75mm needles using 31g/65m Patons Cotton DK. The length can be adjusted to any size so it will fit children and adults alike. It's a good way of using up part used balls and skeins of yarn. The one piece band is joined with one seam at the back and the instructions are both written and charted. It is suitable for knitters with some experience of these stitches:
- knit and purl
- yrn increases
- ssk and k2tog decreases
- slipped and dropped stitches
