Diamond in the fluff

An elegant triangular shawl worked from end to end. Beads highlight the diamonds created by the lacework and add a little sparkle to the finished shawl. Choose a yarn with drape and softness.

Skills: Cast on, working flat, knit, purl, increasing stitches, lace, decreasing stitches, adding beads (optional), weaving in ends.

Sizing: Instructions are given for two sizes of shawl, small (large). Measurements are approximately 135 (145) cm / 53 (57)” along longest edge, with a depth of 18 (22) cm / 7 (8 ½)” at the centre after firm blocking. The shawl can be resized by working more, or fewer, repeats of the increase and decrease sections.
