Diamond cotton cardigan

The Diamond cardigan is a relaxed button-up cardigan worked from the bottom up in an allover diamond lace pattern, creating a light and openwork texture. The body is worked flat in one piece to the underarms, while the sleeves are worked separately in the round from the cuffs up. The body and sleeves are then joined and worked together towards the neck with raglan-style decreases. Ribbed front bands, buttonholes, the lower hem and the neckline are worked as part of the cardigan. The smooth cotton yarn keeps the lace pattern crisp while giving the finished garment a soft drape.
