Product Description
This hat begins with a fun twisted ribbing that also gives great fit to the brim. Then the eyelet pattern lends a delicate look to the hat, as well as providing some interest to the knitting - but there are plenty of soothing rows of stockinette as well. The combination makes it a great travel project!
The pattern includes instructions for five sizes, with options to make a beanie, slightly slouchy hat, or very slouchy hat for each.
Yarn selection: You will need approximately 125 (150, 185)(220, 250) yards sock/ fingering weight yarn. This hat looks great in solids, tonals, gradients, and variegated yarn.
Choosing a size: This hat will fit nicely with about 2”/ 5 cm of negative ease: in other words, the XS size will fit nicely for a head size of up to 19”/ 48 cm. Of course, individuals vary in head size, so knowing your/ your recipient’s head size, if possible, will be your best guide to size choice.
