I read that poem incessantly and can still remember most of it. When the lovely ladies in my local wool shop knew I was writing this toy book they said I should definitely put in a dinosaur. Well I am not very good at dinosaurs and little boys would be the first to spot that but I think there is a bit more leeway with dragons, being mythical creatures so here is Custard and his little grey mouse to help him stop being afraid. I have knitted Custard in Noro  Kureyon sock wool, which is equivalent to 4ply and has given him a great multi-coloured effect but you could just as well knit him in a solid colour.
