Product Description
This may seem like an odd pair of knitted friends but when I was a little girl I loved a poem by Ogden Nash about a Little girl called Belinda who lived in a little white house with a little black kitten and a little grey mouse and a realio truilo Cowardly Dragon called Custard. I read that poem incessantly and can still remember most of it. When the lovely ladies in my local wool shop knew I was writing this toy book they said I should definitely put in a dinosaur. Well I am not very good at dinosaurs and little boys would be the first to spot that but I think there is a bit more leeway with dragons, being mythical creatures so here is Custard and his little grey mouse to help him stop being afraid. I have knitted Custard in Noro Kureyon sock wool, which is equivalent to 4ply and has given him a great multi-coloured effect but you could just as well knit him in a solid colour. This is a rather long pattern and he has a lot of parts but I think you will think that he is well worth the effort in the end.
