Crochet Claire Highland Shawl Pattern

The Claire Shawl is very easy and beginner friendly. This pattern is part of my Vintage Crochet Series, and is very typical of an 18th century wrap/shawl, as could be found in the Scottish Highlands.

For this project you will need: 3 skeins of Stylecraft Special Aran in shade Sage (you can substitute with Paintbox Simply Aran yarn, or any Aran weight 4 yarn) 1 skein of Stylecraft Special Aran in shade Black (which you can also substitute with Paintbox Simply Aran) 6 mm crochet hook Pair of scissors Tapestry needle
