**About the Design: **These socks are worked in **Cascade 220 **and Cloud 9. But consider Lana D’Oro, Ultra Alpaca or another worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn.
The easy stitch pattern is a classic Faroe design and reminds me of waves coming into shore, so I chose sea and shore colors. The cables, too, add a seaside (rope) element. The pattern is in 3 sizes, with tips on adjusting fit.
Size S: Cascade Yarns Cascade 220: 1 hank each #8622 Camel (A), #7816 Bluebell (B) and #8010 Natural (C)
Size M: Cascade 220: 1 hank ##7816 Bluebell (A) and** Cascade Cloud 9**, 50% merino/50% angora, approx. 109 yd/50 gram ball: 1 ball each #119 Navy (B) and #101 Natural (C)
Size L: Cascade 220: 1 hank each #8622 Camel (A), #7804 Shrimp (B), and #8010 Natural (C)
Gauge: 6.25 sts and 8 rows = 1” (2.5 cm) in Stockinette and 6.25 sts and 7 rows = 1” over stranded color patt with size 4 ndls or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.
