The Crenellated Scarf is a textured winter accessory designed to provide warmth and comfort against cold weather. The finished scarf measures 65 inches in length and 9.5 inches in width, making it a generous, versatile accessory suitable for everyday wear.

Knitting Techniques

The primary construction uses a repeating textured pattern worked over the main body of the scarf. Knitters should work to a gauge of 23 stitches and 30 rows over 4 inches in the Crenellated pattern. Checking gauge before beginning is recommended to ensure the finished scarf meets the intended dimensions and has the proper drape and texture. Worsted weight yarn creates good stitch definition in this pattern, allowing the textured crenellated design to be clearly visible in the finished fabric.
