Crannog Cowl

Crannog Cowl is an asymmetric triangular-shape. It’s knit flat, starting with a provisional cast on and worked in garter stripes, then joined to the cast on stitches using a three-needle bind off. The remainder of the stitches are cast off using an i-cord bind off in a contrasting colour. If you do not wish to use the provisional cast on/three needle bind off, instructions are given for working the cowl without. The size of the cowl can easily be made bigger and directions for this are included.

Gauge:

19 sts x 34 rows per 4 inches using 4.5 mm (US 7) needles

Measured in garter stitch after blocking (or sized needed to meet gauge). While gauge is not critical for this design it will impact the amount of y
