Cosette the Cat

Cosette, a refined French kitty, is always the center of attention at parties! She is a great listener and yearns for a loving owner who will take her everywhere. Cosette is a soft and happy doll for toddlers to enjoy from playtime to bedtime.

All doll pieces are knitted in the round on circular needles. The legs, body, and head are knit as one continuous piece. The arms, ears, tail, and ruffle are knitted in the round separately and then added to the body/head. A crochet hook is used for provisional cast-ons and for making the bow.

Intermediate techniques include: intarsia, kitchener stitch, face embroidery, Turkish cast-on, and long-tail cast on.
