Cloud River Scarf

Several years ago I encountered a scarf pattern which used two yarns in very different thicknesses, but both the same color. When I recently recalled having made that scarf, I decided to use the same basic concept but add a bit of pizzazz. One of my quirks is that I prefer to knit scarves lengthwise, and so I combined the lengthwise knitting, the two diverse yarns, and a wavy stitch pattern. After it was completed, my extremely creative eight year old granddaughter looked at it and came up with the name Cloud River.
