Clemence Braid Hat

The Clemence hat is a warm winter hat knit with bulky weight yarn. The lovely braided brim is easy to knit adding an attention-catching design feature with a feminine curvy shape. This is a great first cable project for knitters.

The top of the hat can be knit longer for a more slouchy hat or shorter for a beanie style. Your choice.

Materials: Approximately 140 yards of #5 bulky yarn Sample shown in Patons Shetland Chunky yarn U.S. Size 10 knitting needles and a set of dpns Cable needle, stitch marker

Gauge: 16 stitches x 20 rows = 4 inch x 4 inch

Finished Measurements: 21-inch circumference with lots of stretch 9 inches length; instructions to make less or more size can be adjusted easily
