Excellent service, just not spoilt for choice any more
So far, so good. Pattern seems clearly written and easy to understand and follow. I’ve just completed the yoke and started on the main body, so plain sailing ahead.

Clapton is worked seamlessly from the top down. First some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the yoke is worked in the round to sleeve separation. Some last short rows are worked to finish the yoke shaping right before sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The body is then worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last. Optional neck finishing is worked last.

A bundle of the Clapton pattern and the Clapton (for him) pattern is available at a discounted price.
Clapton is a handknit sweater design created by independent designer Isabell Kraemer. This downloadable PDF pattern produces a finished garment suitable for intermediate-level knitters seeking a classic pullover sweater with color work elements.
This is a knitting project worked primarily in the round or flat, depending on construction preferences. The pattern demonstrates fundamental sweater construction methods appropriate for knitters with intermediate experience and familiarity with shaping techniques and color changes.
The pattern calls for Yama Yarn Merino Linen Singles, a 4-ply weight yarn offering 394 yards per 100 grams. This blend of merino wool and linen provides breathability and drape suitable for sweater construction. The design is shown in three colorways: Ursus (main color), Sandstone (contrast color 1), and Dark Maple (contrast color 2).
Yardage requirements vary by size: Main color ranges from 1116 to 2007 yards depending on the finished size selected. Contrast color 1 requires 38 to 60 yards, while contrast color 2 requires 46 to 88 yards. Standard knitting needles appropriate for 4-ply yarn weight are required, though specific needle size recommendations should be verified in the complete pattern document.
Rated as intermediate, this pattern assumes knitters have experience with basic garment construction, shaping techniques, and color changes. The use of lifted increases and multi-color elements requires moderate skill development.
Clapton is provided as a downloadable PDF pattern for unlimited personal use. The design is the intellectual property of Isabell Kraemer and grasflecken, with reproduction, resale, or commercial use of finished items prohibited under the pattern terms.
