Great pattern. It looks lovely. I adapted it for my pug. I made the leg holes slightly smaller and shortened the body a little. For ease of access I also shortened the underbelly seam to about 4 “ under the chin. I then knitted a strap with a buttonhole to fasten snugly under the rear of her tummy.
The jumper is ok for female dogs. But when sewn together as indicated it would be a bit of a problem for male dogs to do what they do at every lamp post along their walk. The underside would be better if it was shorter. It is a lovely jumper easy to knit ~ but just that one problem to be solved.
