Chunky Mini-Beehive Slouch Hat Pattern

This pattern is for a wonderfully fun and easy-to-knit mini beehive hat with a star pattern on top. It's called a mini because it is not huge but is still a slouch hat. It's made with super bulky yarn and is very soft and comfortable to wear. The stitch count is easy to adjust for larger or small sizes. The Bonus Section provides the instructions for adjusting the size and for increasing evenly around.

Materials required are 1 skein of super bulky yarn of approximately 106 yards. Size 13 16-inch circular needle. Set of size 13 dpns. If you're an accomplished dpn knitter, the entire pattern can be knit on dpns. You will need to stay in pattern and be able to redistribute stitches on the needles as necessary.
