This skirt recipe was designed to make use of Neighborhood Fiber Company’s lovely Studio DK gradient and a coordinating color, to be a companion to the Business in the Front cardigan. The hem lace shows off your legs without giving too much away, and the skirt is completely customized to your measurements.
Finished Size: Custom
Yarn: Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio DK Gradient set (5 mini skeins of 100% Superwash Merino, 144 yards/60g each) and Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio DK (100% Superwash Merino, 275 yards/100g), 2 to 5 skeins. Your yardage will vary based on your measurements!
Needles: US #5/3.75mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle) or size to make gauge.
Gauge: 20 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette stitch, worked in the round. 18 stitches/28 rows per 4” in blocked lace pattern, worked in the round. Adjustments for your preferred gauge are easily substituted.
