Chain Links Scarf

This scarf is worked in an Alternate Spike SC technique. In this alternate style of mosaic crochet, the project is reversible, with the main color being predominant on the right side and the contrasting color being predominant on the wrong side.

Spike SC are used to give the project texture and the ends are turned into fringe. There are options given in the pattern for 2 different styles of fringe used to finish off both ends of each row, thus eliminating the need to weave in tails.

The pattern includes written instructions as well as a mosaic crochet chart for crocheting the scarf.

The scarf can be made with either sport weight or worsted weight yarn and either an H/8 (5mm) or I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook. Approx. 120 gr total of worsted weight yarn or 95 gr of sport weight yarn are used for the 4” x 48” scarf. This pattern is completely adjustable in width and length to make whatever size scarf you desire.
