Cellular Baby Pram Blanket

Knit a beautiful baby blanket, using a very simple lace stitch, which is made up from a simple 4 row pattern repeat, so this is a great one to start with, if you’re unused to working with lace patterns.

Knitting instructions include basic knitting terms, together with the following:

Yf: yarn forward

K2tog: knit 2 together

psso: pass slipped stitch over

s1: slip stitch onto right hand needle without knitting it

s1p: as above but purlwise

The pattern requires 200g of dk cotton, (we used Drops Belle, shown here in off-white, silver and zinc) and a pair of 4.5mm knitting needles. We recommend Debbie Bliss Cotton DK as a suitable alternative.
