Castle Walls

Resembling the neatly stacked bricks of Malbork Castle, a simple pattern stitch is the building block for these beautifully textured mitts. Unlike building a castle, however, this project works up quickly, stitch by stitch, brick by brick.

Yarn Malabrigo Sock (100% Merino, 402m/440yds per 100 g); colorway: SW806 Impressionist Sky; 1 skein.

Needles Size 2.75 mm/US#2 or size needed for gauge; DPNs or circular needles for magic loop method.

Other 5 stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge 24 sts and 32 rounds over 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch.
