Canine Consort

Few companions in life are more knit worthy than our furry friends! They love us unconditionally, and no matter how our FO comes out, they will wear our creation with pride. When I was learning to knit in-the-round, my precious Golden Retriever helped me learn about measuring and gauge and how to finish my projects. He wore everything I made for him with pride and we always got tons of compliments on our walks.

Dogs get cold in winter and a warm cowl keeps them from getting chilled. It even keeps an arthritic neck warm which is comforting for an older dog. This is a super fast and easy project, and if you have a dog that doesn't mind wearing bandanas then a knitted cowl is a wonderful winter accessory.
